Day Zero 101 in 1001 Project: Sign Me Up!

My good friend Ashlee has been bugging me encouraging me to sign up for the Day Zero 101 in 1001 Project. It’s kind of like a bucket list only with a specific deadline.

I like lists. And I like projects with a deadline. And I really like crossing things off of a to do list. Thus, I’ve really had no good reason not to sign up for the 101 in 1001 Project (other than the fact that I was nervous because if I sign up, then it means I actually have to complete some of the goals I’ve had on my “to-do” list for quite a while now). But, it’s time. All I needed was a little extra push encouragement from a friend.

So, I did it. Today, I signed up for the 101 in 1001 Project. I highly recommend signing up! Crossing off even a small, menial task from a list can result in a wonderful rush of positive emotion and adrenaline. Plus, Day Zero can help you finally accomplish all the things you’ve been putting off (it’s like a New Year’s resolution that you may actually keep!).

You can check out my list for ideas (it’s not very long yet, but it’s coming along). My username is: Ambular42.

Now, go explore (especially around Colorado!), and cross some things off your list!

  1. Yay! I will have to steal a couple of those from you (Romp to Stomp – how could I forget?). And I can help you with a few, too. You are wonderful and I heart YOU!

  2. WOW! This is really similar to the project I’m doing for my next blog. Such an awesome idea. I’m in the process of finishing up my list, but I still need a few more. I’ll have to check out your list!

  3. I will definitely check this out – I’ve been starting to make long and short range to-do lists! Good for you!

  4. Canyon Concert Ballet in Ft. Collins is excellent for dance classes, I went there for a few years in high school, and absolutely recommend it! And my friend Sarah and I are planning to do a yoga retreat next year sometime, so you are more than welcome to join! Yoga on a beach, yes please!!

  5. I came across this somewhere, so I read your complete list of DayZero goals, and I must say it was pretty awesome! I loved how it really involved really funn and random things.

We’ve made a blogpost trying to inspire as many as people as possible to participate (one of our goals was to write this ;). Perhaps you want to leave a comment of what you thought your best or most interesting goal was?

    Would be awesome 🙂
